MaxeTrade Bureau Services

A central point to allow small, medium and large businesses access to a
sophisticated electronic trade and transport service.
MaxeTrade is a joint venture between Tradegate Ltd and the Peak User Association
for Electronic Commerce in Australia. Tradegate is a unique
organisation. It is a not-for-profit, non-government, user organisation,
headquartered in Sydney, Australia. Its foremost role is to facilitate the
use of electronic commerce techniques for the exchange of information between
customers and their suppliers. It does this by bringing together all of the
different types of organisations involved in each supply chain so that a
common agreed strategy can be developed and implemented using the relevant
international standards.
Developed by and outsourced to Max eCommerce, the bureau links an umbrella
of services together and facilitates the sharing of details between them.
This dispenses with the need to re-key data already held in any one of the
services. Those services are;
ExportNet
Lodge Australian export declarations and receive export clearances through
the ExportNet. Developed by Max eCommerce and outsourced to both AAPT &
Max eCommerce, the service has over 650 International Trade & Transport
customers and transacted over $1 Billion in it’s first 2 months of operation.
It was developed on a Unix platform and is delivered on a Sun Solaris platform.
ImportNet
When linked with Payments, ImportNet allows you to make payments for
freight charges to transport providers online, leading to the automatic
release of electronic Delivery Orders.
Payments
A convenient, secure payments system that integrates with all the MaxeTrade
services.
ExportNet - Exit 1 – CMR
Export Documentation, Customs Export Declarations and Logistics Management
- A web-based service allowing exporters, packers, agents, and carriers
(road, rail and sea) to cost effectively and to simplify the creation
and exchange of critical export and logistics documents.
- ExportNet is a Tradegate initiative which acts as an industry
shared data hub allowing consignment information to be moved amongst
the many parties involved in the export process.
- ExportNet allows data to be aggregated between users in the
export chain so as to eliminate the paper and re keying from the transport
document phase of international trade!
- Integration of Exit 1 now means that users can get Export Declarations
from Customs and combine that information with booking confirmations
to create Forwarding Instructions and Export Receival Advices.
- ExportNet can accommodate any number of export documentation
flows; one possible scenario is illustrated below.
ExportNet produces these electronic documents:
- Booking
- Booking Confirmation (BC)
- Forwarding Instruction (FI)
- Waybill/ Draft Bill of Lading
- Export Receival Advice (ERA) Customs Export Declaration
Developed by Max eCommerce and outsourced to both AAPT & MaxeTrade, the
service has over 650 International Trade & Transport customers and transacted over
$1 Billion in it’s first 2 months of operation. It was developed on a Unix platform
and is delivered on a Sun Solaris platform.
MaxeTrade Code Repository
"The repository provides the trade and transport industry with a standard
set of codes to effectively meet statutory and commercial reporting requirements.
" Paul Zalai - Freight & Business Operations Manager, Customs Brokers &
Forwarders Council of Australia Inc.
In August 2001, Tradegate ECA and the Victorian Department of State and
Regional Development (DSRD - now DIIRD) released a co-funded report - "Codes
Used in Maritime Trade and Transport Industries in Australia". The report
(prepared by Phillip Walsh of Philma Enterprises), called for a full review
of all code tables used in international trade and for the establishment
of a repository to house the relevant code tables. This website service
is an outcome of the National Code Repository Project and has been developed
by Tradegate ECA in collaboration with the Integrated Logistics Network
(ILN) and Australian Freight Councils Network (AFCN) with funds provided
by Tradegate ECA and the Commonwealth Department of Transport and Regional
Services (DOTARS).
This project was developed by Max eCommerce on a Microsoft. Net platform
and is also hosted and supported by Max eCommerce on a Business Services
Outsourcing basis.
